You can reach the Thomas-Mann-Schule...
...by car
from Hamburg:
- Take the motorway A 1 to the exit "Lübeck-Moisling";
- then follow the road signs to "Flughafen Blankensee";
- you will reach a roundabout, take its second exit (direction Ratzeburg/Travemünde);
- when leaving the roundabout go straight ahead;
- you will pass a bridge;
- appr. 800 m behind the bridge take the first street on the right hand, it is "Thomas-Mann-Straße".
from Berlin:
- Follow the motorway A 24 until exit "Hornbek";
- then follow the road signs "Mölln/Ratzeburg/Lübeck";
- you will reach the regional street 207 that leads to Lübeck;
- when arriving in Lübeck follow the road signs to "Travemünde";
- drive up the bridge;
- appr. 800 m behind the bridge take the first street on the right hand, it is "Thomas-Mann-Straße".
..by train/bus
from Hamburg:
- Leave the train at Lübeck-Hauptbahnhof;
- leave the train station and go across the street to the bus-station "ZOB/Hauptbahnhof";
- take the bus-line 5 direction "Eichholz/Herrnburg";
- leave at the station "Moltkeplatz";
- then go to the next crossroads "Roonstraße/Walderseestraße";
- turn right and take the second street on the left hand;
- it is "Thomas-Mann-Straße".
...by plane
from anywhere:
- Take a plane to Hamburg/Lübeck Airport (LBC);
- Take bus-line 6 direction "Hamburger Straße";
- Switch to bus-line 5 at "Kohlmarkt" which goes "Eicholz/Herrnburg" direction;
- leave at the station "Moltkeplatz";
- then go to the next crossroads "Roonstraße/Walderseestraße";
- turn right and take the second street on the left hand;
- it is the "Thomas-Mann-Straße".
