MUN - What does that mean?

Model United Nations (also known as "MUN") is a simulation education activity focusing on civics, communications, globalization and multilateral diplomacy. This part of the website will help you, the delegate, to survive in this unfamiliar environment of rules and regulations.

Why don't you start out and read a little more about MUNs by checking out the What is a MUN? page. It will give you some general information and ideas about these simulation conferences.

As your preparation prior to the conference is of utmost importance it is strongly advised to look through every section, in particular the Role playing & Research and the Resolution Processing sections. Position Paper and Debating Help will explain to you how to behave during the conference and how you should defeat your resolution in the committee.

The Rules of Procedure are maybe not a must-read for first-time delegates, but as there are differences between MUNs you can check our Rules of Procedure in this section.

Last but not least: The Useful Links section. If you need help finding general information or information regarding your topics, this section will provide you with some general links.
