Conference Manager
Dear Students, Teachers, Sponsors and Guests,
my name is Jan-Niclas Siemß and I will be the Conference Manager of the 14th annual session of Model United Nations of Luebeck in 2011. Currently I am 18 years old and attend the 13th grade at Thomas-Mann-School here in Luebeck. After having participated in six MUN’s so far, four as delegate and two as chair, I will be responsible for your comfort in particular and the organisation of the conference in general during my 7th session.
Since I have never been part of the executive staff myself, I am very grateful that my assistant Silke is a very experienced executive who is always by my side.
Due to my experience as participant of MUNOL as well as RIMUN in Rome, allow me to give you some advise. Prepare well for the conference in advance, so you can turn out to be an irreplaceable part of your committee or commission. Beside the serious discussions let the ancient city of Luebeck cast its spell over you and enjoy yourselves during the evening activities.
All of us here will work as a great team and will do everything within our power to provide you with a most enjoyable and unforgettable MUNOL in 2011.

Dear Students and Teachers,
My name is Silke Grabau and I’m this year’s Assistant Conference Manager.
In the time of the conference I will be 18 years old and attending the 12th grade at the Thomas-Mann school. The conference in 2011 will be my 4th conference and the 3rd in the Executive Staff Team.
The last two years I have been the deputy head and the head of secretariat. I’m really proud to have the opportunity to be the Assistant Conference Manager and to make the 14th annual session of Munol together with Jan-Niclas Siemß possible. So I will do my best to support Jan-Niclas and make a new conference unforgettable.
So I’m looking forward and I’m already exited to see you all in May 2011!

Dear students, prospective chairs, teachers and guest speakers,
I, Simon Spendler, am honoured to get the chance of being next year's Secretary General.
I am 15 years old and currently attending 12th grade of the Thomas-Mann-School in Lübeck. Besides MUNs I play the theatre in our school's theatre club, am head of the school's newspaper, function as head of Thomas-Mann-School's debating club and play the guitar since 2007.
After having participated in seven MUN-sessions, four of them in Lübeck, one in The Hague and two of them in Rome, I am now really looking forward to the upcoming months of preparation and organisation and am hoping that all of you are going to get excited soon.
Since I will also participate in the MUN in Hamburg, I hope to see you there as well.
Otherwise you are going to here from our decision concerning issues, Position Papers, Research Reports and chair-briefings as soon as possible.
I can only repeat how much I am pleased by the fact to be chosen as Secretary General by the former executive staff and I'm giving my best in order to hold the MUNOLICIOUS-spirit alive. So, everybody, especially you prospective delegates, have a great non-MUNOL time until we'll meet in Lübeck!

Hello,
my name is Thorben Strähle. I am 17 years old and attend Thomas-Mann-School in Luebeck.
In the past years I have attended four MUN-conferences in several different countries like New Zealand, Italy, the Netherlands and Germany. I really enjoy the spirit and atmosphere of the conferences.
During MUNOL 2011 I will be the Deputy Secretary General.
Together with the Secretary General Simon Spendler, I will be responsible for the content of the conference. That also includes selecting and supervising chairs, deciding about size and composition of the committees, commissions and councils.
I really look forward to work with Simon and we will give our best to make the conference a great and unforgettable experience for you.
